The Gonzalez family has lived on their corner of the mountain in Jinotega since 1985. In addition to coffee, they raise chickens and pigs, and have a horse and a small waterfall that runs continuously through their farm. Their Caturra Estrella & Catuai trees exhibit a unique peach note that stands out on the cupping table, giving this single-farm micro-lot its name and distinct character.
Their Finca el Divino Niño is very remote, meaning that their sacks of coffee must be carried to the nearest road via trails and on horseback to be loaded onto a truck.
